Our Process

LISTEN

Our first and most important thing we do is talk to you. This way we can discuss which service is right for you and how best we can help you moving forward. From these discussions we can determine the level of attention your restaurant business requires and set parameters. For example:

  • Do you need item-level guidance or just basic guidance to help nudge you in the right direction?

  • Do you want our point of view on both menu and item-level pricing?

  • Do you want to specify a certain level of menu-wide increase and have us identify the best combination of item-level increases to get there?

EVALUATE

After this we review available resources together such as point-of-sale and guest satisfaction data. Once this is completed we will talk about the best time to act based

on whether pricing concerns are driven by either you the client or by your franchisor.

GATHER

Once you review and sign the work agreement we begin the client and data onboarding process which involves the transfer of client data to Buxton Road and curating any client resources that will help us analyze, organize and set up processes that are scalable, repeatable and helps us evaluate the data quickly.

DELIVER

Because we now have a better picture of what your needs are, we can deliver pricing guidance on a quarterly basis within two weeks of a planned pricing plan. At this point you have the opportunity to review macroeconomic conditions, the performance of recent price changes, underlying business trends, and our recommendations for the next price increase at your system level as well as by your store pricing group. If a price increase is not imminent, we will provide a preview of the next increase as well as outlining pricing actions that are expected and will quantify the amount increases needed.

REVIEW

At this point you can request to review your customized strategy with Buxton Road Strategy & Insight or look it over yourself at your leisure. Ask how we can help you format and submit your pricing to your menu printing service.
